A visitor to the site recently posted a comment in an entry I did back in May about my thoughts on “Reverse Seasonal Affective Disorder“. Apparently, this is a real condition, and Tracy is writing an article about it. She would like to hear from anyone like me who feels poorly in the summer.

This country is full of crazy people. I think there is a direct connection between the insane amount of free time we all have(compared to the rest of the world) and all of our “disorders”.
I doubt that we’d have millions of people on prozac and other SSRI’s if they were worried where their next meal was comming from or if generalisimo so-and-so is going to be exterminating your village.
America is a wonderful country founded on good ideas, the problem is that america is full of americans. Fat, stupid and annoying, 90% of our population arent anything more than glorified bio-robots. Consume nutriants, expell waste.
Intelligence has become such a liability that fairly smart folks act like idiots to “fit in”. How pathetic is that? We’ve engineered a society where the idiotic are in control and smart folks have to hide.

Mike doesn’t take his meds because he swears it’s part of a government mind-control experiment. You can tell when the psychosis is coming on because he starts talking about himself in the third person and playing Britney Spears MP3s backwards for hidden messages.
